CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

I'm so excited about it. Although I'm not really sure about this hat, Mimi snapped that shot right at the perfect time. I have been growing and growing. I've gotten to where I can wave and say bye bye. :) mama and dada. So I'm learning all the time. I like to stack things and act all silly when I'm running around the house. Mommy and Daddy pray with me each night and are teaching me all the stories about Jesus! His birthday is coming up you know. I bet this Christmas I will be all into those presents. Mimi will take pictures but they will be a week late because we will be at my other grandparents house on Christmas. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Today was birthday party for ME!!!! I had a lot of friends and family show up and a bunch of neat presents! My mommy and daddy got me a big blow up castle to bounce in and it has different color balls. I got tonka trucks from my uncle and his girlfriend and my mimi and grandpa Brian got me a bounce and spin zebra. I got light up toys, clothes, cars, trucks, helicopter, and even a dinosaur. I had so much fun, I danced around with my friends to some music and even started swaying back and forth as everyone started singing happy birthday while I was in my high chair. I got my very own special birthday cake and learned how fun it was to play in it, then mommy learned how fun it was to give me a bath afterward. Mommy had a lot of her friends come too! The whole day was awesome... but I was worn out at the end of the day. Mimi has put some pictures up and even a short video. :) I weigh 21 lbs now and am growing big. I want to say a big thank you to everyone for coming and thank you for all the wonderful presents. You made my first birthday a great success.

IM GROWING AND ALMOST A YEAR OLD!!!

Yip!!!.... I'm getting ready to turn 1 year old on October 8th! I sure am growing too!... I'm going with WALKS now with mommy and daddy... not in my stroller either. I have started dancing to the music more and must say I've got baby dancin skills! I enjoy playing and looking at books while mommy reads to me. Daddy is silly and chases me through the house. I have long put down my binky and my bottle and am really good at my sippy cup now. I have 4 teeth! I have 2 on top and 2 on bottom and have a great smile! I think my favorite thing right now is jumping and playing on the air matress in the floor. My mimi is gonna do her best to put birthday pictures up shortly after my party which will be October 10th. How exciting is that gonna be...? Well mimi wanted to include a couple recent pictures of me so you can see how I'm growing. She will tell you all the neat things that happened at the party next time.

MOMMY IS OFF TO WORK... I'M OFF TO THE BABYSITTERS!

WOW!!!! Mommy started work yesterday, and I got to experience my first day with my babysitter. She has a little boy that is 8 months old, and with me being 9 months old now, well, that means he'll look up to me and I have to show him the ropes. :) I think I'm gonna have alot of fun here. Laura (my babysitter) took these pictures of me and Mimi liked them so much she had to post them. Mommy is liking her job alot, but misses me terribly. She showered me with so much love when she got home that I thought she was gonna squeeze lil hearts right out of me. Daddy picked me up from the babysitters and brought me home. I was happy to see him but enjoyed playing with my new friend. BIG NEWS!!! I took a few steps the last few days, ON MY OWN!!! won't be long now mama and daddy... LOOK OUT!!!!

NO MORE HAIR!!

Well... It happened... The sides of my head just wouldn't grow hair, so mommy and daddy got a great idea to shave me silly. Mimi followed up by cleaning it up. Jeez Louise... I'm glad thats over... but I must admit, I'm one handsome devil. ;) Neat thing have been happening for me all over the place.. First I realized I could get up on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. That was pretty cool, but it got old, so one day, after tired of rolling everywhere I decided to try moving a lil on my knees. At first, all I could figure out was how to go backwards, that wasn't accomplishing much at all, cuz everything I wanted was IN FRONT of me... so with a little patience and motivation, I managed to get going in the right direction, and now JAYVEN IS MOBILE!!! yay!!!! I make mommy and daddy proud! Of course Mimi too!

Mimi has been kinda slow on getting new posts put up here. She doesn't mean to be that way, things have just been way busy. OK... so now about ME!!! I'm getting ready to turn 7 months old now, and I can set for a LONG time by myself without falling over. I'm able to hold my bottle now and know EXACTLY where my binky goes :) This week I have started shaking my head when Mommy talks to me. It makes her laugh cuz she thinks I'm saying no... I just like how it feels (hee hee)... I have also ventured up to where I have my knees under me... so look out Mommy and Daddy... I'm getting ready to be more mobile then just rollin here and there.

update on me!

well, for starters Mimi is sorry she hasn't updated this lately. She had a surgery and was a bit under the weather, but she is feeling better now, so here we go!... I'm rolling over from my back to my tummy now. I've been doing that for about a week. Mommy started a new job today at a daycare and I get to go to work with her. Thats really neat!! I have started eating rice cereal and a few certain baby foods but mostly the cereal. Mommy had to wein me off of her and onto the bottle.. I was very stubborn about it at first, because it just wasn't the same, but I have gotten pretty good at it now... I am enjoying my new house and my new room, Mimi will put pictures up of here when everything is done. But for now, here are some pictures of me eating and in my swing. :) I'm 5 months and 2 days old.

Bathtime is over and I'm sporting my new little Pooh bathrobe and slippers. My Grandma Carolyn, Grandpa Jimmy and a bunch of Daddy's family got a bunch of neat things for me that were given to Mommy and Daddy at my baby shower. This is one of them. Mimi and Mommy thought I looked real cute in it, so they took some pictures. Well now that I'm 3 months old, I sure am changing and becoming more alert. I have discovered my hands and found that besides holding things my fist can be mighty tasty. :) I have also found my voice! Even though no one is really sure what I am saying (not even me), Mommy and Daddy always smile when I do it, so I think I'll keep it up. Ok, well that is all for now, Mimi will write more later when she can... keep watching... I'll keep changing.

Where to begin. Mimi has been super busy and hasn't been able to keep this thing updated that great hear lately... So for starters I had a really great Christmas. I got some toys, and of course enjoyed listening to the paper crinkle most of all. My mommy looked very pretty with her new haircut and highlights. I then went to my Daddy's family for New Years and got to see everyone there and had a really neat time. Mimi is posting some pictures. Hope you enjoy. I will be 3 months old in 3 days!!!...
